The story worth telling

The before state should be something your audience recognises, not a caricature of incompetence. Show the unnecessary step or uncertainty, then the product action that addresses it. Let the result speak at its real scale.

Three things to capture

1. The genuine starting difficulty
2. The product action addressing it
3. The resulting state using the same example

Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
