Make the small screen easy to read

The story worth telling

A full phone screen contains more information than a short video can comfortably show. Choose the action that matters and let its result remain visible. Use framing to guide attention without hiding the context of the interface.

Three things to capture

1. The app’s relevant starting screen
2. A tap or gesture that changes the state
3. The completed task in the actual interface

Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
